Pembrokeshire – Southwest coast of Wales

Taking advantage of the last moments of September good weather, we went to a few days camping in Southwest Wales. We haven’t had a chance to visit this part of Great Britain so far and it turned out to be more mesmerizing than many parts of it. Rich in beautiful views and wild animals, it encourages us to return when warmer days come again! ๐Ÿฅฐ (more…)

It has snowed, it’s time to go swimming – Monika’s first winter swimming – video

At last! First snow in the UK and temperature below zero for more than a day! Maybe not in an ice surrounded blowhole, but still in quite cool water, we managed to overcome the cold fear. First winter swimming by Monika and our friend. OK, video is not about motorcycles or a trip, but man cannot live by motorcycle alone. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And while we are waiting for the still closed borders to open, we can use the time given to us, to improve our immunity!

Sidestand

Honey, yesterday I left the motorcycle upright!

Hehe, I remembered Monika’s situation from a few months ago. ๐Ÿ˜€ In short โ€“ she had to replace the clutch lever after leaving motorcycle overnight on the grass. Rocker arms update

The new rocker arms do the job – they push the valves ๐Ÿ˜€ , the rollers turn flawlessly, I could not find any unnecessary play when checked them. Like in the sweetest dream. I will not say a bad word, although I am aware that their durability will not allow us to ride through the world without the need to have them replaced along the way. (more…)

Fuel tank update

The fuel tanks finally found their place on motorcycles after months of lying on the garage floor. Few weeks before leaving on KTMs from the UK, I installed tanks so during next several trips we were able to get used to the new character of riding with the added weight in front. (more…)

Motorcycle seats

Medicine for pain in the arse

No more suffering! Our motorcycle seats are modified so at the thought of jumping on the motorcycle, we do not look for further excuses not to ride or dream of a comfortable sofa in the living room of our house. (more…)

Steering damper

Power steering

The steering damper was not our priority. Honestly, we did not focus on buying it at all. We have been riding motorcycles for a few years and so far we have not had a situation when our skills were not enough to get out of trouble in the situation of uncontrolled handlebar movements, called shimmy. The fact is that we have never experienced real, cruel shimmy… (more…)
